• Vettel wins Italian GP in record-setting fashion

  
  

  Monza, Italy (Sports Network) - German driver Sebastian Vettel won Sunday's Italian Grand Prix, scoring his first career victory and becoming the youngest winner in Formula One history. Vettel started on the pole and crossed the finish line 12.5 seconds ahead of Heikki Kovalainen.

  Vettel recorded his first victory in his 21st Grand Prix start.

  Robert Kubica, Fernando Alonso and Nick Heidfeld completed the top-five.
