Wiebe leads Watson, Hoch in Florida
Lutz, FL (Sports Network) - Looking for his second straight win, Mark Wiebe fired a six-under 65 on Saturday to take the second-round lead at the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am.
Wiebe, who won the Cap Cana Championship two weeks ago for his second Champions Tour title, birdied three of his last five holes Saturday and was at 11-under 131.
Defending champion and first-round leader Tom Watson had a 71 and was tied for second place with Scott Hoch (67) at eight-under 134, three shots behind Wiebe.
Tom Jenkins (66) and Mike Reid (68) stood at six-under 136, with Mike Hulbert (68) at five-under 137. Nick Price (65), John Cook (68), Craig Stadler (68) and Gary Koch (69) were a shot further back at four-under 138.
