    Indianapolis,IN (SportsNetwork) - Tamika Whitmore's 15 points led Connecticut past Indiana, 84-58, in WNBA action.

    Asjha Jones added 14 points and four assists for the Sun, who won in their first game back from the Olympic hiatus. Sandrine Gruda chipped in 11 points off the bench and Barbara Turner led the club with five rebounds.

    Tammy Sutton-Brown and Tully Bevilacqua scored nine points apiece for the Fever. Ebony Hoffman contributed eight points and five boards.

    The difference in the contest was the second quarter, where the visiting Sun burned their hosts with a 30-10 margin, turning a nine-point lead into a 29- point halftime margin.
