New York, NY (Sports Network) - New York Knicks guard Nate Robinson will miss at least a week of action due to a sprained left ankle.
The reserve guard is on crutches after suffering the injury on Saturday versus the Sixers. Knicks head coach Mike D'Antoni said Robinson will have X-rays.
"I would say two weeks, but it could be 10 days or 17 days. I don't think anyone knows yet," said D'Antoni when asked how long Robinson will be out.
Robinson has averaged 8.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in three games this season.
The 5-foot-9, 180-pound Washington product averaged 17.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in 74 games (11 starts) last year for New York.
