• Rio Grande Valley joins CBA

  
  

  Albany, NY (Sports Network) - The Continental Basketball Association announced a new member for the 2007-08 season, as the Rio Grande Valley Silverados will join the league.

  The announcement marks the league's return to Texas, which last housed a CBA team in 1994 with the Wichita Falls Texans.

  The Silverados will play at the McAllen Convention Center with Steve Tucker serving as head coach.
