• Twins place Everett on DL

  
  

  Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Twins placed shortstop Adam Everett on the 15-day disabled list Saturday with a right shoulder strain.

  The move is retroactive to April 15.

  Everett is batting just .185 (5-for-27) with a double and two runs batted in through his first nine games with the Twins after coming over from Houston in the off-season.

  Minnesota recalled infielder Brian Buscher from Triple-A Rochester to fill the roster spot.
